David J. King Hall, Entire Building
Many of you remember that facilities did a major electrical upgrade in the building in May 2014. They are now ready to do the final cutover with VA POWER. As a result David King Hall will be secured and without power for a few days with no access. See the current info provided.
August 14th (Friday) through August 17th (Monday).
We intend to begin at 6:00am Friday 8/14, work continuous until 9:00am Monday 8/17.
***There is a Rain Date. In the event of inclement weather and the decision of Dominion VA Power to not be able to provide support:
August 21 –August 24. We do not anticipate this, but need to provide just in case. If this occurs, notification will be sent out immediately.
Critical circuits will be backed up with generators, but you will want to take care to unplug equipment and computers on Thursday night, August 13th.
