Aser Mohamed is a Master's student in the Cognitive and Behavioral Neuroscience program at George Mason University. He works in the lab of Dr. Theodore Dumas to study the effects of the NMDA receptor on learning and memory. 

Current Research

PBNJ Lab:

  • Late postnatal development as a model for aging
  • Synaptic and cognitive development in NMDA receptor chimeric mice
  • Explaining false positive in situ hybridization
