Rafael is currently working towards his MA in the Cognitive and Behavioral Neuroscience (CBN) program within the Psychology Department. He was involved in the Accelerated Masters Program as an undergraduate here at George Mason University before transitioning into the graduate program. He has been working in Dr. Flinn's lab since an undergraduate and continues to do research there focusing on Alzheimer's disease.
Rafael is currently doing research looking at the effects of zinc and copper on the brain pathology of dual transgenic mice models of Alzheimer's disease.
